The Cuvée Eugène from the House of Louis Casters is an exceptional cuvée elaborated in homage to Eugène Cadel, founder of the House in 1899.
Blended with 70% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Meunier and 15% Pinot Noir from the territories of the Marne Valley, the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, this exceptional cuvée matured sur lies between 7 and 8 years .
It has the particularity, like the other wines of the House of Louis Casters, that it does not undergo the malolactic fermentation process. Like all fermentations, malolactic fermentation allows the aromas of the wine to evolve. While most champagne houses make it to obtain softer, ripe and slightly lactic aromas, the House of Louis Casters chooses not to make it to preserve the freshness and floral and fruity aromas of the grapes.
Cuvée Eugène is an exceptional brut champagne (9g/l) with great mineral depth.
